Intelligent access control system for one to two doors and up to 9,992 people. Several ACS-1 units can be linked via an RS 485 interface to form an integrated system with completely self-contained intelligence for each door. It has to be connected via bus controller. In an interconnection one unit, designated as the master unit (e.g. address 1), can be used to programme up to seven other units connected to the system. The interface converter serves as an interface between PC and RS485 network in access control and time recording systems. A maximum of 8 control units / terminals can be connected.
