The CyberKey Vault WR module is a very secure, ruggedised, outdoor vault that stores an un-programmed CyberKey. When approved credentials are presented, the CyberKey is programmed and can then be removed from the Vault.

DoorKing has released its new ProxPlusTM line of card readers that offer a much higher degree of security than standard 125 KHz proximity card reader systems. 125 KHz proximity cards, and even some 13.56 MHz cards can be easily copied. There are card clone products available on the Internet that allows just about anyone to quickly duplicate these cards. ProxPlus Secure card readers will read only ProxPlus Secure cards. DoorKing adds a unique encryption to the cards so that the card can only be read by a ProxPLUS Secure reader. This prevents unauthorized duplication of the access card. Other forms of Mifare cards are not compatible with the ProxPlus Secure reader, making this system one of the most secured offered. DoorKing ProxPlus Secure Card Readers are ideal for those applications that require a higher level of security than standard proximity card readers, and cards offer. And, since the DoorKing card reader outputs the card code in a 26-bit Wiegand format, they are compatible with almost any access control system on the market.

The terminal is suitable in particular for small- and medium-sized time recording solutions, for which a graphic display with a resolution of 240 x 40 pixels is sufficient for information display. The terminal can also be used commercially and in subsidiaries of larger enterprises. It can store 200 master records and 4,000 booking records. As an option, more master records are possible, for example 1,000 master records and 4,000 booking records or 2,000 master records and approx. 8,000 booking records.

Application The wall-mounted reader is to be used as part of access control systems for doors in which the locking or blocking element is an automatism: Automatic doors, a car park barrier, doors with electric or magnetic strike plates, etc. It is a proximity card reader which incorporates a relay and a control unit which manages both the reader and the relay. Via the relay, the control unit will decide weather or not to activate the door's locking element, depending on weather the user who is attempting to open the door has authorised access or not. Radio frequency technology has traditionally been used to remotely control barriers, automatic gates and doors by utilising hand held transmitters and remove receivers. With smart and proximity technology support, the MT15 reader is perfect for a wall mount installation. Because physical contact is not required, proximity card readers can read card data through common building materials like: concrete, brick, stone, drywall, plaster, glass, wood, plastic...in fact, through anything but metal. Proximity card readers are maintenance free.   There are no parts to wear out or adjust. Passive card technology provides an unlimited number of "card reads" with no battery to wear out. Passive cards, unless they are physically abused, will last virtually forever. Clamshell, ISO Graphic and KeyTag type cards are available. Read ranges are not absolute and will vary depending on several factors including where the reader is mounted, the mounting surface and product application. These card readers output their data in 26-bit wiegand format. Most card readers operate on 5-12 VDC.  AVI systems may operate at different voltages. These card readers are not designed for stand-alone operation (see 1520/1524 readers) and must be connected to an access controller (DKS 1830 Series systems).
