CEM RDR/304/005 MiFare/DESFire CSN portable card reader is a lightweight and rugged hand-held card reading device for use with the CEM AC2000 system v6.3 software & upwards. It can be used for ID card validation at remote sites or temporary entrances which have no power, and can also be used as a mobile device for random checks within pre-defined zones. Up to 200,000 card ID’s can be held in the reader’s database for differentiation between authorised and unauthorised personnel and up to 8,000 offline card swipe transactions can also be stored for on-line transmission to the AC2000 system via built-in 802.11g WiFi connection or USB cabled connection.

The S620 Magnetic Stripe readers have been designed for use with the Symmetry M-2150 and EN door controllers. Unlike Wiegand interface readers, the Symmetry S600 Magnetic Stripe readers use secure, bi-directional, Pseudo-Random supervised communications between the multiNODE controllers and their associated readers.

The Door Interface Unit (DIU 210) is designed primarily to provide power to a door lock, as well as local power to a CEM reader when a high level of security is required. It has onboard inputs which can be used to monitor conditions such as a fire alarm or activated Break-glass condition. The DIU 210 improves door security, by allowing the installer to locate lock controls on the secure side of a door, with an intelligent CEM reader on the unsecured side. The DIU 210 communicates with an intelligent CEM reader over a single pair RS485 cable. Upon a valid swipe at the card reader, the reader will instruct the DIU (over the RS485 communications channel) to activate the appropriate output to release the lock using a coded data signal (i.e. coded lock).     

High security mobile solution in an all-in-one S3060 handheld device. Cardholder Details – Stored cardholder photographs are displayed on the reader along with Name, and Date of Birth, allowing for additional visual verification. Mustering – The S3060 portable readers contains the current system muster state, allowing for usage in a muster situation where the muster count is decremented as each person swipes their card. (Mustering is used, for example in the evacuation of cardholders to a safe location in the event of an emergency). A report is provided which shows the details of cardholders who still need to present their card. Roaming - The S3060 portable readers can be temporarily assigned a different pre-defined reader address. This allows a single portable reader to be used across multiple card verification zones. Occupancy Mode – This allows a cardholder head count in a defined area preventing card sharing. Occupancy mode provides the ability to do spot checks on a pre-defined group of people in a defined area, e.g. a bus or plane. Increased Storage – The S3060 portable reader holds over 500,000 cardholder records and up to 50,000 offline transactions.

The Inner Range OSDP <> Wiegand converter is a small inline device which can be used in junction with card readers in order to convert OSDP protocol to Wiegand or Wiegand protocol to OSDP. The device can be configured to provide the following functions: Convert data from a SIFER OSDP reader to Wiegand data for connection to a standard Wiegand reader input. Convert data from any OSDP reader to Wiegand data for connection to a standard Wiegand reader input.
