The CAA-482P has 16 inputs, one for each control relay of the CAA-480A elevator controller and eliminates elevator cab tailgating. Each user must present their card to select a floor button. Once a card is presented, the user can only select one floor. Once the floor is selected, all other floor selection buttons are deactivated. The user must present his card again in order to select another floor. Every presentation and floor selection is stored by the system which also registers valid and invalid transactions.
