Ideal as a replacement closer the Briton 200 series has been designed to cover the fixings of popular trimplate design closers on the market. Briton 220 is suitable for doors up to 1100 mm wide and 80 kg in weight. Briton 220 is windthrough adjustable strength closer with adjustable backcheck as standard. Closer is fixed to the pull (hinge) side of the door. Optional applications of closer fixed to transom on push side of the door or closer fixed to parallel arm on push side of the door also available. Door closing speed can be adjusted to either increase or decrease.
