The RM Magnetic Stripe reader utilizes flexible and versatile card reader technology.  The readers support high and low coercivity cards encoded on track 2.  The RM Magnetic Stripe reader gives you the option of using cards that have been magnetically encoded for other applications (consult factory for track 1 and 3 applications).  The RM Magnetic Stripe reader is available in standard and mullion styles, and is coated for weather resistance.

Embedded in the RM readers, the RM-4 provides the hardware interface between a magnetic or Wiegand read head and apC or iSTAR hardware.  The RM-4 also provides the inputs and outputs that communicate between door components and apC or iSTAR hardware.  Also available separately in any suitable enclosure, the RM-4 can be used to create the connectivity between other third party readers and the apC or iSTAR when used on a C•CURE 800/8000 system.

The OmniClass™ OM55BHONCP keypad from Honeywell is a pin-only entry keypad with Wiegand output that offers superb reliability and ease of installation. In some access control applications, unique PIN code entry is more suitable than a pre-programmed card or keyfob in order to control door access. In such situations, PIN codes must be unique in the system and the OM55BHONCP will transmit the keyed-in PIN code as a card number to an access control panel or an access module.

ISONAS Weatherproofing Kit provides a simple and cost effective way to add protection to exterior ISONAS readers. The silicone gasket creates a tighter seal between the PowerNet reader-controller and the ISONAS trim kit. SALTO offers several base options to fit modular wall readers. Depending on your needs you can choose a single or double base to fit a wall reader and a key pad. Both bases include an internal gasket to prevent water ingress and have several fixing points to allow for adjustment during installation.

The LCD is an optional backlit text display which is available with any RM card reader.  It provides card holders with visual feedback and prompts, such as "Access Granted" or "Enter PIN".  The display consists of two lines of 16 characters and can be configured to display custom messages.  The LCD is designed to be used with readers that have a keypad and is not recommended for use in harsh temperatures.

With the SALTO Wall Reader Adaptor, it's possible to integrate with third party devices such as time and attendance, POS etc. The Wall Reader Adaptor is designed to read data from the RW carriers and send this to an external device. It is connected on one side to any SALTO Wall Reader, and on the other side to the external device. The interface with the external device can be RS232, OMRON and WIEGAND. Configuration by dip switches to control data to be read and the interface with the external device. Voltage required: from 7 to 15V from the external device. Can also be optionally powered through the jack connector. Connection to the reader: UTP CAT5 cable. Connection to the external device: 4 pins block terminal.
