Delta Scientific Rapid Deployment Portable Barrier

Product Profile

The MP5000 is a towable, rapid deployment vehicle barricade designed to help secure events quickly while allowing emergency vehicle access when required. With a setup time of less than 30 minutes, the MP5000 can be deployed where vehicle security is needed and operated with the push of a button.

The barricade can operate using standard 120v power or an optional solar panel system. It is self-contained and battery-powered, making it suitable for portable vehicle security applications.

One of Delta’s most popular vehicle barricades, the MP5000 is now available in 12-, 16-, and 20-foot clear openings. Its key features include towable deployment, setup in under 30 minutes, and self-contained battery-powered operation.

Full-scale crash tests for the MP5000 were conducted by an independent test lab following both DOS and ASTM testing criteria. The barrier achieved DOS K4, ASTM M30, and ASTM M40 levels. Testing was carried out using a 15,000 lb vehicle travelling at both 30 miles per hour and 40 miles per hour.

More than 2,000 MP5000 event barricades have been sold. These portable barriers have been used to protect life and property at G20 meetings on city streets and at forward operating bases in Afghanistan.
