Starburst, the enterprise intelligence platform for governed data and AI, announces the appointment of Kerman Lau as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this role, Kerman will lead Starburst’s finance organisation and partner with the leadership team on growth strategy, operating performance, capital allocation and long-term value creation.
Lau joins Starburst with more than 25 years of experience spanning high-growth software companies and large global enterprises. Most recently, he served as CFO of Moveworks, where he helped scale the company through a period of rapid growth, the emergence of generative and agentic AI, and its acquisition by ServiceNow.
