The Security Industry Association (SIA) has welcomed Amanda Garzon to serve as chief operating officer (COO). Amanda Garzon oversees the association’s strategic execution and day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment across internal functions and delivery of SIA’s programs and initiatives. She is an experienced executive with a background spanning the for-profit and nonprofit sectors.
Most recently, Garzon served as COO of the Hydrocephalus Association, where she supported organisational growth and program expansion across a national network of stakeholders, including patients, caregivers, clinicians, researchers and industry partners. She also led the development of HydroAssist, a mobile app designed to help patients and caregivers manage hydrocephalus treatment.
