Originally founded by firefighters responding to emergency oil rig incidents, JOIFF is a respected, not for profit organisation dedicated to improving standards and shared learning across the high-hazard industry. Its accreditation is internationally recognised for its focus on competency-based training, ensuring emergency responders are properly prepared for incidents.
Securitas UK joined JOIFF as a member in April 2025, commencing a period of close engagement focused on strengthening training standards. That work culminated in a formal onsite audit carried out by JOIFF in April 2026, resulting in Securitas being accredited as a JOIFF training provider.
