Hikvision and Aramco have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore opportunities for collaboration in leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced imaging technologies to support environmental monitoring, biodiversity protection efforts, and other sustainability initiatives.
The MoU establishes a framework for the two organisations to assess potential areas of cooperation, including AI-enabled native vegetation health monitoring, fauna assessment and monitoring, environmental data analytics, and knowledge sharing. The collaboration may also explore opportunities for joint research, technical workshops, and the development of innovative digital solutions that help contribute to more efficient environmental assessment and monitoring.
