dormakaba has acquired a minority stake in RealSense Inc. (“RealSense”), a pioneer in AI-powered computer vision. In addition to the venture investment, dormakaba will partner with the company to deliver next-generation intelligent access control solutions.
RealSense was founded on July 11, 2025, as a spin-off of the pioneering technology company Intel Corporation and is based in Santa Clara, USA. With a dedicated team of around 120 specialists, RealSense offers industry-pioneering depth cameras and image processing technology.
