Tyco Security Products announced the integration of two of its market-leading access control and NVR platforms. Security directors and managers can now get all of the benefits of IP Video from American Dynamics VideoEdge NVR (v4.0 and above) inside the latest versions of Software House C•CURE 9000 security and event management solution.

VideoEdge delivers an industry-leading 400 Mbps of video from camera to storage; this allows customers to hang up to 64 megapixel cameras from a single server. VideoEdge's high performance provides security teams with ultra-reliable recording, integrated "always-on" motion analytics and seamless "streaming" playback of recorded video.

When integrated into C•CURE 9000, security officers can easily create custom video views, tours, control PTZ cameras and associate video with any access control alarm or action.

Recorded video clips can be viewed directly from the C•CURE 9000 monitoring stations and operators can instantly access, monitor, and simultaneously view live and recorded video from IP cameras. Built-in playback controls and tools for detection and investigation significantly decrease the time needed to perform searches and analytics.

"C?CURE 9000 integrates with most of the leading DVRs and NVRs in the industry; including VideoEdge in that mix gives our security customers best-in-class functionality to find the event video they need and share it quickly and easily within their organisation, " said Warren Brown, Director of product management for Tyco Security Products. "VideoEdge NVR offers full interaction with video from any IP camera connected to the network and couples that with C•CURE 9000's industry-leading access control capabilities for a superior enterprise security solution."

C•CURE 9000 and VideoEdge NVR are available through the worldwide distribution channels of Software House and American Dynamics.
