Taiwan’s AVTech Corporation, was founded in 1996 and today ranks as one of the pioneering video surveillance manufacturers worldwide. Since becoming publicly listed in 2005, AVTech has been consistently ranked as one of the largest publicly listed video surveillance companies in Taiwan.
However, the last several years has seen the Taiwan video surveillance market slow down considerably due to price competition with many of the mainland Chinese vendors. Yet, with the changing political and economic landscape, AVTech is poised to make a strong recovery in not only the Taiwan market but in the worldwide market as well.
