The XS4 Original DIN glass door lock has been specially designed for use with DIN 18101 standard glass doors. Its steel body is stylish and modern and its unique ‘sandwich body’ construction makes it easy to install, without having to replace the door. A wireless version of the XS4 DIN glass door lock is also available for real-time access control requirements. Features: Sandwich body design for easy installation. Body and escutcheon made of steel. Available with mechanical cylinder cut outs for key override or access lock outs (override European profile cylinder) with audit trail facility available. The lock can always be opened from the inside (single action panic feature works in conjunction with the SALTO automatic mortise lock). With the SALTO XS4 cylindrical latch you can replace existing traditional knob sets, and upgrade them with a state of the art electronic access control system. The XS4 Euro lock is a mortise lock with latch projection which means the latch is automatically projected and deadlocked when the door is closed. This mortise lock is suitable for all kinds of wooden door whether it's a hotel room, office or warehouse door etc. The new latch projection function increases security by making it impossible to gain access by using plastic cards. For additional security SALTO also offers the option to order this lock with a deadbolt. Honeywell recently announced the DLC-Online Wireless Cylinder solution, a reliable, secure, wireless and online access control and arming system for doors. It is ideal for large office buildings, department stores, small and medium company facilities, and assets that need to be secured with an access control and intruder alarm. The DLC-Online wireless cylinder solution has been designed to deliver full online access control rights management for greater end-user flexibility and lower overall system cost. The solution comprises a wireless cylinder or fitting (DLC/DLF) communicating over a traffic point. One traffic point can have up to 8 cylinders or wireless fittings connected. Wireless communications to doors offers greatest flexibility and cost savings by eliminating the need to for costly hard wiring. The wireless communication technology is a proprietary system for maximum security using encryption, authentication, short online times and a fixed assignment of DLC/DLFs to a traffic point. The best security in class opens up a wider range of installations. Each DLC/DLF provides a reader for arming/disarming, a blocking element, a reader for access control and a door strike. This approach delivers maximum flexibility because any access control door can be expanded with arming/disarming functionality, while no additional blocking elements are needed, and the DLC/DLF are disabled for access while armed. And it greatly minimises the risk of false alarms. The DLC-Online is very easy to install and an ideal solution for security installers looking to fit access control and arming/disarming without reworking the doors. The solution works with both the Honeywell intruder alarm MB Series (MB) and the ACS-8 Access control panel by simply updating the panel firmware. Application relevant data such as key codes and access times can be easily and quickly programmed through Honeywell's access control rights management software IQ MultiAccess and IQ SystemControl. The end-user gets full flexibility with online access control and easy access control rights management. Any installation can be upgraded as traffic points can be up to 1200 m away from an IK3 evaluation unit, a door control module for MB or an ACS linkable access controller. The installer just needs to position traffic points around the site and connect to an RS-485 bus. Programming of wireless cylinders is performed within the standard IK3 programming menu or in the IQ NetEdit menu - installers just have to add wireless doors and arming units. The wireless address of cylinders and fittings can be easily programmed with IQ MultiAccess using the IrDa adapter before being installed on site. Additional support for the Dorma DLC and DLF gives the installer a large choice of cylinders and fittings. Dorma software tools fully integrate with IQ MultiAccess to deliver the same user interface and look-and-feel for existing customers. The versatile XS4 Keypad escutcheon from SALTO Systems is designed to provide increased protection and control for doors where extra security may be required. Available in both wire free and wireless versions, the new product offers users a choice of multiple security authentication methods to control access including proximity card, combined use of a PIN code + proximity card or a separate keypad code. Users can have up to an 8-digit PIN Code. XS4 Keypad can be operated in 3 modes: proximity card only, PIN (Personal Identification Number) code + proximity card or keypad code only. With standard proximity card mode the lock is locked at all times until opened with the users proximity card that has access rights to the room. When using PIN code + card mode each user has their own personal code. Typically this might be used in student dorms, where extra security and dual authentication (presenting both a card and typing in the PIN code) are needed. The XS4 Keypad escutcheon from SALTO Systems is available for use with a wide range of mainstream RFID technologies including: HID iClass, DESfire, DESfire EV1, Mifare, Mifare plus and Mifare Ultralight C.

SALTO Systems European profile GEO cylinders have received BZ+ physical security equipment certification from VdS, one of Germany’s leading independent testing institutions for fire protection and security. As approved by VdS, these electronic cylinders deliver high levels of protection against picking attacks and medium protection against aggravated burglary. They are approved for use as ancillary control equipment alongside burglar alarm systems (according to VdS 2119). They come with integrated pulling protection and thus may be used together with a burglar resistant security plate of class B (or higher) without pulling protection. This certification is valid for SALTO European profile half cylinders, European profile cylinders with thumb turn, European profile double cylinders, and European profile cylinders cog-wheel cam with product numbers G8Exx and G9xx. All GEO cylinders are completely integrated within SALTO System’s XS4 access control platform. They support SALTO Virtual Network (SVN) as well as several contactless RFID systems, such as Mifare, DESfire, DESfire EV1, Legic prime and Legic advant.
