The Scramble Keypad SP-100 is a keypad reader designed to prevent onlookers from detecting the PIN code being entered. The LED’s display a randomly allocated set of numbers from 0 to 9. The position of the numbers change every time the keypad is activated. Only the user standing directly in front of the keypad can see the scrambled digits.

With its EPROM memory, the systems programmed data is non-volatile in case of power failure. Over 100 million combinations are possible, each with its own duress code for reporting duress to an alarm system or a telephone dialer. Security features also include door sensing for door auto re-lock function and a built in tamper switch. The plastic case of the keypad unit is precisely engineered: the front panel and the mounting box are sealed with a water-resistant gasket, making the keypad suitable for both in-door and out-door installations.
