Videx Security have released the new Smart Video Kit (SMVK) – a versatile package designed to control either one or two entrances.  The kit comprises a compact surface mount door entry panel, interface and videophone.  In addition, a range of options such as audio telephones, sounders, relays and a telephone interface can be provided.The door entry panel, available in either white or grey, has an integral manual pan and tilt camera adjustment, illuminated nameplate with either one or two push buttons.  Each button can be connected to up to three video phones.  Either black/white or colour cameras can be specified.Once the door panel push button is pressed, the resident can answer the call on the connected videophone.  The videophone has adjustments for brightness/contrast and a three position switch to control the volume/tone.  A lock release button and a handy camera recall facility are also included along with three spare buttons for other functions.  For ease of installation and maintenance, the Smart Video Kit requires simply a six wire connection and also comes with a plug-in monitor.  As with all their access control products, Videx Security can provide full product training and technical support by calling +44 (0)870 300 1240.

Sometimes it is difficult to find a suitable entry kit where there is limited space next to a door or gate.   Videx Security, specialists in door entry systems and access control, have devised with a solution with their new Slim Line Kit (SLK) comprising of an audio wall mountable handset with a lock release button, a 12V AC transformer and the single call button external panel.In operation, the caller will press the call button on the die cast alloy panel which will produce an electronic call tone at the handset.   When answered, the caller and occupant can have a two way conversation.  If required, the occupant can then release the door/gate by pressing the release button on the white ABS plastic telephone handset.The Slim Line Kit can operate with up to three handsets and additional handsets, sounders, slim line code lock and a telephone interface unit can be added.
