The capturing of signatures sounds requires a tough surface, and in the case of SignHear, a steel pad is the input surface onto which the customer signs.  Therefore, SignHear is highly robust, as the only exposed sensor of this Biometric device is a piece of coated metal, making SignHear suitable for a huge number of environments ranging from office based to factory the floor to the front lines of war.
