Radian selects CRYPTOCard's CRYPTO-MAS access control solution
CRYPTO-MAS allows Radian to guarantee authenticated access to its remote users
Social housing and care services group Radian has selected CRYPTOCard's CRYPTO-MAS solution - delivered through partner Armadillo - to protect its servers and network from unauthorised remote access. Protected by CRYPTO-MAS' two-factor authentication service, Radian's staff can now securely access the company's network when logging on remotely, able to work in the same manner as if sitting at their desks - a key benefit for Radian's highly mobile workforce.

CRYPTO-MAS allows Radian to guarantee authenticated access to its remote users. Following a security audit earlier this year, Radian sought an effective and efficient managed 2FA solution to safeguard its network. Previously, its ‘power users' relied on remote access through a Citrix gateway over SSL, leaving them at risk from hackers.

Tim Leather, Head of IT at Radian says: "We looked at various solutions - evaluating them for cost, user-friendliness and ease of deployment. Ultimately, we chose CRYPTO-MAS as it is a managed service that reduces the administrative burden on our staff, as well as being cost-effective to deploy."

"CRYPTO-MAS is incredibly easy to manage and has been quick to implement, while the opex model makes the service affordable. The service is wholly scalable too, so that, should Radian want to extend it to more users, we can do so with no problems at all," says Andy Mitchell of Armadillo, the UK's leading security solutions integrator.

Neil Hollister, Chief Executive at CRYPTOCard, says: "We are seeing a sharp uptake of CRYPTO-MAS, our SaaS authentication service. I am delighted to see yet another company benefiting from the ease of implementation, scalability and financial benefits of CRYPTO-MAS."
