The CombiSmart reader is a compact, stand-alone unit that utilises a smart card to provide security and functionality. It matches fingerprint data that is stored on a smart card with information from a live fingerprint. When the card is inserted, the CombiSmart reads the information and compares it to a fingerprint that is imaged on the reader finger pad.
